Dimenhydrinate is a combination drug consisting of diphenhydramine and 8-chlorotheophylline, a drug similar to caffeine. It is sold under the trade name Dramamine in the United States and elsewhere.

Meclizine (Antivert, Dramamine II) is increasingly preferred over dimenhydrinate for motion sickness, due to a lower incidence of drowsiness.
