Morning Glory Seeds

Morning Glory Seeds contain a chemical called ergine or LSA[1]. LSA has psychedelic effects, similar to (but less dramatic than) LSD.

Legality and Availability[edit]

United States[edit]

LSA is technically a Schedule III substance in the United States. However, morning glory seeds are easily available to purchase, so long as they are sold as botanical products not intended for human consumption. This puts them on a legal level similar to opium poppies.

LSA is not listed under Canada's Controlled Substances Act, and is therefore legal de facto.[2] Although it is illegal to sell "as a drug", plants containing LSA are freely available in Canada.
