Niacin (also known as vitamin B3 or nicotinic acid) is an organic compound and essential mineral for humans. Niacin is a vasodilator.

A 2011 study found that niacin had a significant effect for men suffering from erectile dysfunction.[1] This means that it could potentially be used as a substitute for sildenafil (Viagra), tadalafil (Cialis), or vardenafil (Levitra).
